See QuakeCMD.png for an image for what I mean.Īlternatively, you can open the properties of the Launch Quake shortcut (right click>properties), then enter in the following as shown in the Quakeshort.png image. Navigate to the Quake game directory via CMD, then type the following (without quotes): "glquake.exe -width 1024 -height 768 -bpp 32" and see if it launches.

If you have removed/renamed the OpenG元2.dll file, then you can use the command line (CMD) on Windows. If you haven't removed or renamed the opengl.32.dll file present in the same directory, then you need to use nglide_config.exe to change the game's resolution, since Quake is outputting to that specified resolution. So where *is* this command line and how do I set it? Is it just the default Windows "run" command? The Quake forums are here, for future reference. Right-clicking GL Quake, going to properties and changing what I THOUGHT was the command line only changed GL Quake's name. In-game, the Quake video options menu says I need to set screen resolution from the command line. Bigger_C: First off, sorry for posting this in the wrong forum, but as Quake: The Offering doesn't seem to have its own support forum yet (that I'VE been able to find, anyway) I'm posting it here.
